What is an Advent Calendar?
An Advent Calendar is a special countdown calendar that helps children (and adults!) count down the days until Christmas. The word "Advent" comes from the Latin word adventus, meaning "arrival" or "coming."
Traditional Advent Calendars have 24 or 25 little doors, one for each day from December 1st until Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Behind each door, there's usually a small treat, picture, or surprise!
Our digital Advent Calendar brings this beloved tradition online. Each day, a new door unlocks to reveal a fun activity—from creative crafts and exciting games to magical stories and amazing Christmas facts!
